“My wife and I stayed in August 2025. We learned that there was recently new management. The staff we met we all very helpful and friendly. It was perfect for us looking to go hiking but with a comfortable place to rest and recoup after a long day walking. Morning breakfast was also very good. We would come back again and look forward to seeing what changes the new management makes going forward.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Alpha Hotel. The hosts are lovely and helpful. Breakfast was nice. There are two small markets in the area in case you want to grab some snacks. There is a bus stop nearby and a town where you can catch a train to Zermatt for example. There is a small play house on the property which includes a slide and some swings if you are traveling with little ones . Overall we would definitely stay here again.”

“L’hôtel est très beau et bien entretenu. Super bien placé également proche du centre et des télécabines, parfait pour nos randonnées. “A very convenient location and close to VISP station (Banhoff). It is a good hub for going to Zermatt and other sight seeing point. The hotel allow me an early checkin that is amazing in Europe. “WE loved this hotel, it was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, maybe the breakfast buffet was only so-so, but, dinner was wonderful. After staying at a hotel in Basel, we came to appreciate that what the Stockalperhoff offered, was small, personable and very enjoyable. Not fancy, but very clean. We give it 5 stars.”

"The hotel is right by the bus stop Jungfraustrasse, you can easily walk to Interlaken West train station—superb convenient. Tbh we booked this hotel last minute so it may be expensive, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel room only had triple type J sockets, and none of my adapters fit! Fortunately, the staff quickly brought us adaptors, which was awesome."
