You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

🏡 Cottage in historic LeClaire. Dogs welcome + Fee 🐶 1 mi to downtown LeClaire

Beautiful 1910 cottage built in to a hill. Overlooking the Mississippi River and less than a mile to historic downtown LeClaire IA. (Home of the American Pickers).

Nightly rate includes 2 guests. Additional guests are $25 up to 5 guests max.

Pets are very welcome at the cottage. Please let me know at the time of your booking you'll be bringing a pet. I leave toys, dog beds and goodies for them.
Pets are not aloud upstairs.
There is a one time Cleaning fee of $60 for up to two dogs. 3rd dog will be a additional $25

We do allow small gatherings max of 15 Guests. This includes booked guests. The event fee is $350
This allows use of the entire property, including fire pit, grill and all 3 large decks and bar area . Please reach out for more details.

The cottage 🏡

Large Decks, grill and a large yard with fire-pit garden. Plenty of seating. For those amazing river views Screened sun-porch with bar top and Edison bulbs, overlooking the river for beautiful sunsets. 2 bedrooms with full private baths. Spare bedroom ensuite has a Jacuzzi tub/shower, The master has a large slate walk in shower with jets.

Gas fireplace for cozy evenings in the living room. A entire wall of french doors with views of the river. Watch barges and boats sail by.

Iron spiral staircase takes you to the den with large screen TV, and two bedrooms. The den also doubles as a sleeping space with a fold out couch.

The screened sun-porch is the ideal spot to unwind with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Directly behind the property is a park with children's play equipment and a gazebo for picnicking.

The fully equip eat in kitchen has everything you need! Everything is high end and lovingly cared for.

Adorable cottage!
The cottage was the perfect place for me to get away from distractions and get some writing done! From the variety of outdoor seating to the cozy indoor space, it was a great setup. And the river view was so pretty! I even got to see a beautiful rainbow over the Mississippi after a storm. The only improvement that could be made is the master bedroom bed. It was only a full size which was very tight for the night my husband was able to be there. Granted, we are used to a king, but a full was a whole lot smaller than we like. We would not have been able to do another night in that bed. By myself it was just fine. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay! I loved it!

My 19 year old daughter and I were coming to the area for a Blake Shelton concert and wanted to stay in LeClaire. The house was perfect, super relaxing and exactly what was needed. The area was great and locals extremely friendly. We quickly fell in love with LeClaire, can’t wait to come back & would love to again stay here. 10/10 recommend.

Great Place in a cozy the cozy town of LeClaire
Absolutely loved the place. The pictures are spot on. It's super cozy and charming yet much bigger than you would think. All the rooms are decent sized and well decorated. Also, a great location only a short walk from all the restaurants and shopping. We will definitely add to our list of must go again.

Amazing Best Friends Getaway
This was the cutest, coziest cottage! It was perfect for the 4 of us. We used the grill and deck one night and the firepit another night. Very relaxing and convenient walking distance to all the cool places on Cody Road. We would definitely stay there again.

Quaint, cute and very clean and well appointed. Excellent view of the Mississippi River from various vantage points both inside and outside. Two en-suite bath rooms and a powder room. One glitch was that the entrance code that was provided was not accurate so we needed to contact the VRBO help line to obtain the correct entrance code. I do not know if that was an owner or VRBO issue, but hopefully that can be remedied in the future.

Birthday getaway
We always try to get away for a day or two around our birthdays. This was an absolutely adorable home with a great view. Although being on the river I think next time we will do it for my birthday so weather is warmer. The house is exactly as listed. Easy check in, fabulous spiral staircase, jetted tub comfy bed. The local restaurants are great, unfortunately the local grocery store is not. This place was really great we hope to come back soon.

Very cozy in a quiet neighborhood
The house was very cute and the family room was very cozy. Nice and clean and was very welcoming to our two small dogs with toys that they played with and a couple of beds they slept on. If you're up for hiking up a 45 degree incline there's a nice open park across the street to walk dogs or let your 9 year old run around. The only thing worth mentioning about the property is to access any of the sleeping areas you have to use the fairly narrow spiral staircase. It's super cool but my wife had a foot boot on due to an injury and it was a bit treacherous going up and down. Not a fault of the property though and it was clearly shown in the pics. Overall a great stay that we would do again. Thanks!

Nice place for family stay
Very cute place. Great views of river and lush green garden setting. Close to town and easy access to freeways. Train is close by but not too much of a bother. Screened in porch room was a great bonus space. Home was just as advertised.

Weekend Getaway
This was my second time here and my husband's first. We had a wonderfully cozy weekend. It was a rainy, chilly weekend. We took full advantage of the fireplace and played board games and just relaxed. We absolutely will be back!
