Situated directly on Lake Erie, CJ’s Lakehouse offers all the comforts of home with the charm & serenity of lakefront living. Located less than 1km from Point Pelee National Park, fun & adventure are steps away. If it's calm and relaxation you're looking for, we have a huge backyard with a large upper and smaller lower beach and a great firepit. CJ’s is all about loving the lake life, your furry family members included! A Point Pelee Park pass is included as part of your rental experience. Propane BBQ and lots of outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking available for vehicles or even a boat (covered car port).

It is a cute clean cottage with a nice outdoor area for us to enjoy the views and for our dogs. All the amenities of home. Nice sized bedrooms and comfortable beds.Easy and clear check in and communication with our host.We definitely enjoyed the area and would like to return.

CJ’s Lakehouse

Very cute little cottage! Clean and well stocked. So convenient to Point Pelee and local dining. We had a great view of Lake Erie and magnificent sunsets. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Lovely little cottage getaway!

Cute, clean, and peaceful cottage. Jennifer is a welcoming and attentive host. Gorgeous lake views overlooking the sunset. Water access is by ladder (no beach). Very close to Pointe Peele National Park and stores/restaurants.

Great Getaway!

CJ's Lakehouse was a very comfortable, spotless, and well situated home away from home for our weekend getaway. All the little extras like dog toys and snacks made our pups feel comfortable, too! The yard and beach access were great, and I only wish I had more quiet time to have a nap on the hammock.

Wish we stayed longer

We stayed one night while traveling through. House was great for our family of four (kids 9 & 9). We loved the back yard and the view. Kitchen had everything we needed. Interior is nice. The beach was only a short drive away and was very nice. We could have easily stayed 3 or 4 nights. Would be a nice relaxing getaway.

Jennifer is very responsive to our inquiries and enjoyed the stay. The house is very neat and clean. The interior design is modern and comfortable. The location is very close to the Pelee national park and Pelee island ferry service. The backyard has lake access too. We will highly recommend this place

A neat relaxing retreat on Lake Erie

A delightful little cottage on the shore of Lake Erie, just a mile or two from Point Pelee's entrance. Super clean and comfortable. Excellent mattresses and bedding! Surprisingly big backyard equipped with a fire pit and plenty of comfortable lawn chairs for viewing the stars or the waves crashing on the beach. Responsive host wants to make sure you have a great stay. Highly recommended!

Stellar Host!

Booked this place for a writing retreat, great lighting and steady strong internet was critical. It was a beautiful little cabin, my bed was super comfy and the house had all the amenities you might need. The hostess was fabulous and always answered any questions I had quickly. I will be booking again next year!

Clean and comfy

Very nice home that has all you need for an excellent vacation. Close to the park and walking the dog was safe and lots to look at. Stores are a 5 min drive for any forgotten item. Enjoyed are stay. Thank you Nancy

Very lovely

My husband and I stayed one night with our dog and we were really pleased. The place is clean and very cute, we loved a wall decor and all the special touches it has. Everything you need is there, including coffee, tea and creamer. I need my coffee in the morning so I was excited that I didnt need to go far to find it :). Owners did a great job organizing and decorating the place. Location is also great and check in/out process was very smooth. We highly recommend it!

Point Pelee

The purpose of our trip was to visit Point Pelee National Park and Pelee Island. Jennifer’s cottage was ideal for our plans being on the doorstep of the park and a 10 minute drive to the ferry dock. The park pass supplied as part of our accommodation was much appreciated. We did not book the ferry to the island until a couple of days prior and had to change our initial plan as the return journey was fully booked….we will be more organized next time. Can fully recommended Jennifer’s cottage.

Very attentive details

Jennifer was so quick to respond to my request before booking & after. There was all sort of little touches that we appreciated a lot one in particular was the point Pelee Park pass which allowed us to get to the parc before the parc gate open. We lost power during a very bad storm/tornadoes & Jennifer came by the house to make sure we were all ok.

Great weekend in Point Pelee

We had such a beautiful trip to Point Pelee and nearby towns. Jennifer's place (CJs Lakehouse) is in a perfect spot just down the road from Point Pelee Park. We used the very convenient fast pass Jennifer had left for us to access the park on a few occasions to jog, cycle, or just chill stroll around. It was ideal and saved us from the long car lines. We cycled to Leamington and Kingsville for breweries and wineries. The Grove in Kingsville was a definite highlight for beer fans. The house is right on the water and the yard was perfect for evening fires and listening to the waves. Inside, everything was lovely and clean and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pans, dishes, utensils to cook up a great meal and the bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of fresh towels. Communicating with Jennifer was easy and she responded within a few minutes anytime we had a question. Absolutely no regrets about choosing to stay here and we hope to be back sometime. I'd highly recommend staying here anytime.

A Lakefront Paradise - CJ's Lakehouse Delivered Unforgettable Memories

We recently had the most wonderful stay at CJ's Lakehouse, and we can't say enough great things about it! This charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is an absolute gem. The view of the sunset from the beach is breathtaking, and the fact that they provide free firewood for the fire pit made our evenings truly magical. The house itself is fully furnished and immaculately clean, making us feel right at home. The well-groomed exterior with freshly raked sand was a lovely touch, and we couldn't get enough of the comfy outdoor hammock. Plus, the reliable Wi-Fi allowed us to work remotely while enjoying this picturesque setting. The cute decor and comfy furniture added to the cozy ambiance, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras like bug spray, fire lighter, and fire starter. Having a pass to nearby Point Pelee National Park was a fantastic perk, as it allowed us to explore the natural beauty of the area. Lastly, the host was incredibly responsive and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. CJ's Lakehouse provided the perfect backdrop for a super relaxing getaway. We can't wait to return and experience the lake life all over again. Highly recommend this fantastic rental

We had a good overnight at CJs Lakehouse. The views of the lake are gorgeous and the house had everything you need for an overnight and more. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials and we didn’t have any issues finding utensils or items of need as we cooked there. Thanks for the great stay.

Perfect Getaway!

Let me just start of by saying that Jennifer is an amazing host! Prior to arrival, the answered all our questions and assured us of any concerns. Once we arrived, we unfortunately had a bit of a plumbing issue in the bathroom which she quickly resolved — within two hours in fact! Her prompt responses and support made our stay all the more enjoyable.CJ’s Lakehouse itself is a gorgeous property. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the living & dining areas feel like you’re right at home. I am also a room decor fanatic, and loved the aesthetic of the Lakehouse! Do be warned, the bedrooms got a bit hot because there is just a window AC located in the kitchen. It does sound a bit loud (especially in the quiet of the night), so I recommend you run it all day if you are light sleepers! We found it a bit challenging to enjoy the outdoors because of the harsh waves from Lake Erie and the multitude of mosquitoes we encountered, but CJ’s Lakehouse is just a short distance away from other fun stuff. We ended up spontaneously going to Windsor for the day!Overall, I would highly recommend CJ’s Lakehouse to someone wanting a getaway from the craziness of busy city life!

A quite, romantic retreat.

My family was very happy about the location. Clean, quiet, maximum privacy. Every worked as good as it gets, and Jennifer is very quick with email responses and provided clear and easy instructions. Highly recommended!
