While checking in, we were told that we are getting a complimentary upgrade to a “village suite” but we didn’t find any difference with the “upgrade”. Rather we were disappointed that there was no balcony with our suite. This is not the first time that we stayed here, so we could say if there any difference with the so called “upgrade”. Maybe next time (if I have to choose this property), i would mention not to provide any upgrade and let us have what we asked for. Rest of the things were as usual as any other good hotel. I don’t mean to sound rude, but there os nothing worth mentioning. Sorry.

The pool upkeep is questionable and it was sad to see that the water quality was murky and green in areas. Trays of room service were left with dirty dishes in the hallway for more than 24 hours. What a surprising experience versus the last time!

The property is advertised as a premium accommodation. It is fine. The “deluxe suite” was a little less than a standard Holiday Inn room. To be fair, such a room with a small fridge, small microwave, basic bathroom is no worries if that is what you are paying for? The website had a picture of a balcony in the ad, there was none and we were told on arrival “sorry but some don’t”; the fireplace isn’t “on” during this season but it was 5 degrees out and was included as part of the “deluxe” room. The coffee maker did not work. They did have plates and cutlery. We called maintenance for an issue. They just never showed up? I have stayed at other properties at Blue Mountain, such as “mosaic” and I would say it is a much better value for the money. Overall, it was fine but not worth the extra cost compared to others accommodations in the village.
