Unfortunately the WiFi was down during our stay but the host made me aware of this beforehand and reimbursed me for the public paid WiFi instantly upon check out. overall a 5* star stay and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay in york.”

“In peaceful Nidderdale - just what we needed for a quiet slow-paced break. The cottage was well-appointed and homely (which can't be said about a lot of self-catering places we've stayed). Simon was friendly and welcoming as were the ginger retrievers and the two inquisitive cats. :-)”

“Quiet. Good location to Harrogate and surrounding areas. Lovely rooms each with own on suite. Hot tub cannot use after 9 pm due to neighbours and planning permission which was a shame. Excellent easy check in from host usu g safe key and video. ”

“The flat was lovely—spotlessly clean, easy to find, and in a great location. It was perfect for our family of four. The walk to the city centre took around 15 minutes, which the kids enjoyed without any complaints.”

“Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Some of the automatic, sensor lights seemed to take a bit of working out with some switches not in an obvious place.Tip: Take or buy a rubber mat for the shower rooms, especially if mobility is an issue.Very quiet and dark at night.”

“I recently returned to this apartment after a pleasant first stay in May, but unfortunately this visit fell far short of expectations. While the apartment itself is modern and nicely presented, a number of issues made the experience uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi dropped repeatedly throughout the stay, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Even more concerning was discovering a pair of old women’s underwear behind the towel heater—an unexpected and unhygienic find that suggests housekeeping……
