“This cottage was just perfect for us. Clean, tidy, cozy...all we could ask for! Great location...easy walk from cottage to the center of Grassington with it's shops, pubs, visitors center & sites...walk in the other direction & you are minutes away from walks on the Dales with scenic vistas & idyllic beauty. Host provided lots of info at cottage about walks and sites to see. We loved our time here. Highly recommend!”

“We loved our stay at Dockenbush Cottage. It was located on a rural property making for a peaceful,relaxing stay. It was comfortably furnished and well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Graham also included a welcome pack which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay not too far from major towns and villages.”

“Could not fault the communication or the property. Absolutely beautiful. Everything you could possibly need for an exceptional stay. A special shout out to the hosts, during our stay sadly my sister died back at home and the care , compassion and help that the hosts showed I will remember for ever. They even brought flowers for me. We did leave to head back home so didn't check out local area at all. But highly, highly recommended. ”

“We had an amazing stay in this beautiful cottage.The highlights are the peace and quiet and the amazing views, as well as the comforts of the cottage itself. Lots of farm animals to watch, which we enjoyed. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is very clean.The double bed is super comfy and the whole cottage is cool when needed (as some of our weather was very hot!) but also warm when required (as it also turned cold and rainy!)Ample parking at the front and a nice little patio space...

“Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely ”

“What a gorgeous property. Peaceful view of the sheep pasture, perfect linens, clean, luxurious and great leisure area with pool table and darts. ”

“We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating. Neil and Sharon were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed their advice and friendly chats! Can’t wait to return!”
