The property was very well maintained and had a lot of charm. While overall warm & welcoming with its cafe lights, fireplaces and cozy shared communal spaces, each room also had its own unique character. The decor was fun, and stylishly vibrant. The breakfast was delicious with a rotating menu each morning that held a good balance of variety. The staff was very accommodating as well. We will be returning for sure!

Beautiful breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, spotless facilities. The downside is the location. It is not in town, just outside, up a hill that I would not have wanted to walk if the weather were wintery. The traffic whizzes by at 40-50mph through the day and evening which was surprising. Room may have been accessible- oddly laid out with only room for one bedside table on one side due to space limits, but bathroom enormous. I did end up spilling coffee on myself as a result- sorry to the cleaners! For both of us to enter room together, one person had to come in, one person had to head left and stand by bedside table then the second person close outside door so we could then enter the room. It was beautifully decorated. Just keep this in mind if you are booking. You may want to call hotel to ask about room first

We thoroughly enjoyed the Cornell Inn. The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming, there were a lot of extra perks like yummy treats in the afternoon and a bottle of wine in the room, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. We plan to go back again next year.

Very homey feel, staff is very friendly and seem to really want to please. There were at least 20 stairs (no elevator) to the room we stayed in accessible from outside the building. This should be noted in description of room as some may not be able to navigate.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Cornell Inn for an overnight away. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, they gave us a tour of the property and brought us to our room upon arrival. There was so many complimentary additions to our stay which you don’t find anymore. A drink when we arrived, cookies and pastries, a bottle of wine and breakfast the next day. Our room was comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal, one of the best we have ever had. We are already planning our trip back!

The Cornell Inn was quite sweet. The staff was lovely. The grounds were lovely as well. Our room was a bit tight, but very well done and cozy. But the bed was UN-SLEEPABLE. The pillows as well. Worse than anything, the heating/cooling unit in our room was terribly inefficient, on an off all night, incredibly loud with each and every start. We got NO SLEEP at all. Not a great place for an overnight.

Everyone at the Inn was kind and courteous. The Inn was very clean and well maintained. Our room was very quaint and the bed was very comfortable.
