"We wanted to book somewhere in the middle of nowhere and this was what we booked. What a stunning view of the surrounding area and the night sky was something I hope I can remember forever. The lodge was what you can expect for the price, certainly adequate enough and breakfast was more than enough and was included too. "I don’t recommend this hotel. Our room had zero ventilation so it got very hot and stuffy at night. There was no fan or ac so it was hard to sleep. There was zero housekeeping and when I needed items like toilet paper or a towel I had to find someone at the front desk - most of the time staff was no where to be found and the front desk was unattended. The hot water in the shower cut off halfway through my shower twice. The most upsetting thing was that we booked this hotel based on the fact it...

Camino Verde Bed & Breakfast

10/10 Excellent
"This place was just lovely. We loved the Monteverde region. A gem and often overlooked for the nearby La Fortuna/Arenal region. The staff here was attentive and incredibly friendly. The place had a grown up hostal vibe. Cannot recommend Camino Verde enough!"
