“Comfy beds. Otherwise, quite run down. Does have an almost pleasant vintage charm to it, mid-century looking fixtures in some places. Like being in Fawlty Towers, except there are no staff, and you're not quite sure if you might get murdered. Good value for money 4/5”

“What a lovely place. A hidden gem! Such a good location, the staff were really friendly and the room was spacious. There is parking at The Lawns for £10.70 for 24 hours right next door. Very close to the castle, a short walk to the cathedral and lots to do nearby!”

The finished article when we stayed last week exceeded our expectations - Brilliant. Tastefully decorated and furnished in all areas Rooms - the house keeping very good.
