“My husband, son (12), and I went to DFW for a fun little get away and staying at this Hidden Gem was absolutely perfect for us! The little extra things they did for our stay did not go unnoticed: cold waters in the frig, make up wipes, kitchen supplies, extra blankets for sitting outside, wood easily available for the fire pit, etc. The lake was also so stinkin’ cute! If we had gone during a warmer month we definitely would’ve taken more advantage of it with the available kayaks. Due to our busy……

“When I was checking in to the hotel the clerk became argumentative in my request for a room change due to the nonfunctional AC system that the manger had to be aware of beforehand. Secondly, The trash container at the entrance doors was overflowing and smelled.”

“Adorable cottage right on the lake! Has all of the amenities, updated interior, plenty of kayaks and life vests to use (which was awesome), a fun saucer swing for kiddos, plenty of outdoor seating with a fire pit area, etc. And the hosts were very friendly and accommodating! We just stayed for a night on the way down to our final destination but could have easily stayed for a week! I saw in the welcome binder that there were walking trails and local restaurant suggestions, which would have been……
