It’s about 10–15 minutes from the airport and just a stone’s throw from the river. Although trains pass by occasionally, it didn’t bother us at all. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like ear plugs and a sound machine for a better night’s rest. The staff were very friendly and professional. The drinks at the hotel’s restaurant and bar were fantastic, especially since they have their own distillery. We’d love to come back again in the summer!" The carpet was not vacuumed - lots of dust around the desk. The beds were uncomfortable. The smoke detector light was really bright and shined down in our faces all night. I left after one night of the originally planned 2-night stay, but they still charged me for the second night because they didn't get 24 hours notice - even though I checked out at 8am. The front desk person said someone would call me about this, but they didn't. I called to request a manager and was asked to leave my number for a call back, which i did. Still no call. The next time I called I spoke with the manager (Jay) who told me he'd call me back the next day, but he didn't. I was not asking for a refund for the night that I stayed, but they did not have to charge me for that second night. Especially when I left because it was unsatisfactory!"
