Absolutely amazing stay, at the check in got upgraded to a double room with a river view, and the room was just a haven. Complimentary drinks were a lovely touch. Roof top bar had been really nice to relax. Will definitely be back - the only downside was at the very end of my stay, when I was jumped by one of the housekeepers as soon as I left the room, wanting to investigate which room I vacated.

Gorgeous river view room definitely worth the price. 10 minute walk to liverpool one. Ordered room service from Gino Di’Campo’s restaurant downstairs and it was lovely. Staff are extremely friendly. 24 hour corner shop 2 seconds round the corner. All was perfect and I would definitely recommend.

Nice place all around. Great views. Only real complaints would be the temp of the room. No matter what it was a sweat box until we found out we could get a fan so that helped. WiFi didn't work in the room. Maybe not as big of a deal to others but when you need WiFi to call or FaceTime it's helpful. Not sure if the sky bar is owned by the hotel but the stuff up there is very unfriendly. Parking isn't free, didn't see they before booking so maybe it my fault. But they do give a code for the parking deck around the corner and that helped bring the price down a lot.

Come here every year. Staff are very friendly, room wasnt a sea view which i tried to change but they didnt have anything else. Tv didnt work but staff fixed it quickly. Only other concern was there was stains allover the sofa

Cheeky Anniversary stay whilst daughter was away
Didn’t start well due to the booking with Hotels. Com not transferring to Meliá Innsides booking system, so they couldn’t find my booking. Reception staff were lovely and they got their equally friendly supervisor to help. We were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco each, whilst they sorted it out. After some time all was sorted and they kindly upgraded our room, and added a bottle of Prosecco and some cute romantic swan towel art with rose petted on the bed. Room 1402, was large with a sitting area, mini bar fridge . The mini bar was free, although only beer/ ale as an alcoholic drink and only 1 small can of water. The room had fantastic views across Liverpool - you could see both the Cathedrals, unfortunately this room wasn’t a river view as we had booked but it was a larger room. Bath is in the corner of the main bedroom with lovely views. Bed was quite firm and the pillows lovely and comfy- so a good nights sleep was had. We were also given access up to Sky Bar, where we were met by a not very friendly host who asked, can she help us, in a manner that made us feel like we shouldn’t be there but she showed us to a table with a beautiful view and we ordered a cocktail and beer. Staff the proceeded to ignore us whilst chatting to some other guests who they obviously knew, because quite a few different members of staff were seen chatting with them. Lovely meal at Ginos, shame we had to wait 15 mins for our table which was booked and restaurant quiet.
