“The cottage was cleverly converted to a high standard, although the history means that some of the doors are low and narrow and the stairs are steep (no problem for us). Comfortable beds, spacious living and dining areas and well fitted kitchen. We did a couple of nice 5 mile walks straight from the house. Tywyn and Aberdyfi are a short car drive. Recommend Dolgoch Falls and Panorama Walk above Aberdyfi. Parking space is a bit tight, but I have small car - so again no problem for me.”

“D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility……

“The cottage is in a lovely location above the coast of wild West Wales. The lane meandered up through a rocky gorge full of woodland and moss, beautiful. The hosts were welcoming and the cottage had all we needed for a very pleasant stay. The walking in the area is brilliant with a mountains and beaches within easy reach. If you like peace and quiet in lovely rural Wales this is a lovely place.”
