The car park was not lite at night so I was worriedabout the secuirty of my car. The hotel is adjacent to the A40 so the traffic noise was a concern especially early morning

Room and bathroom nice and modern, good shower, bed comfy, pub next door do a good range of food and reasonable priced, breakfast in the morning ace, a good old full English but there is other choices if required

We stayed during the recent heatwave, and unfortunately the bedrooms did not have air conditioning, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. We were initially provided with a Dyson fan, but it wasn’t working properly. After reporting this, it was replaced with two small desk fans, which we appreciated, but they still weren’t enough to keep the room cool. Breakfast was okay overall, but I was disappointed by the lack of inclusive options. If you don’t eat pork, there were no alternative meat choices available, which felt quite limiting. I had very high expectations for The Belfry, especially given its reputation and the cost of staying there. Sadly, the experience didn’t live up to those expectations. For the price of a one-night stay, I believe there is significant room for improvement when it comes to guest comfort and the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning.
