The hotel location is convenient, but the bar across the street played loud music until 3 am, making it impossible to sleep. Staff admitted this has always been a problem, and there was no effective response when I complained at 1 am. This was the most expensive night of my Scotland trip, yet the room was average, and I did not get the quiet, comfortable stay I paid for. I only realized in the morning that the experience I expected was completely missing. Given the sleepless night and lack of proper service recovery, I am requesting a refund for this stay."
