A clean, comfortable and spacious room. Parking was conveniently in the same building. There was a range of options for breakfast and staff were happy to help with gluten free options. Would recommend this property.

Wir haben das Hotel für einen 5tägigen LondonTrip gebucht (2 E+4 K (14-17)). Die eigentlich gebuchten Zimmer standen bei Ankunft nicht zur Verfügung, es wurde jedoch eine Alternative gefunden (allerdings ärgerlich wenn man dafür (Urlaubs)Zeit opfern muss). Zimmer 1-12 liegen in einem Gang der dauerhaft nach Gras duftet (muss ja nicht das schlechteste sein). Grdsl. Sind die Zimmer ok, nur funktionieren mE die Klimaanlagen nicht wirklich, die pusten einfach nur etwas Luft durch den Raum. Die Kids hatten einen Ventilator im Zimmer, sonst wären sie zu 4. erstickt. Das englische Frühstück ist überschaubar, leider nicht unseres, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Es gibt keinen Aufschnitt und keinen Käse, eben nur englisch und Marmelade, Honig, Cerialien. Wir haben am 1. Abend das Abendessen im Restaurant getestet, hier können wir sagen, dass es wirklich mies ist (Geschmackssache hin oder her). Dann doch lieber MCD nebenan. Zimmerservice passiert nur auf Nachfrage/Bestellung (Handtuchwechsel usw), die Leute stellen Ihren Müll auf den Flur damit er mitgenommen wird. Zur Lage: man fährt mit Bus und Bahn ca 50 min ins Zentrum. Die Busse fahren direkt in der Nähe vom Hotel ab. Wir sind idR morgens gg 8.30 Uhr gestartet und abends gg 18/19 Uhr zurückgekommen. Wir haben die Busfahrten als Sightseeing-Ergänzung gesehen, da man fast immer andere Routen fährt und dadurch nochmal viel gesehen hat. Alles in Allem ist das Hotel ok, ich würde es aber nicht wieder buchen.

This place is a pit. Fairly clean but ladies room on 1st floor had window cracked, water pooled in one of the sinks with the stopper in and a million dead mosquitoes - ugh. There is no-one there to check you in, (guess htat;s "hip" now?), you either do "self check-in" at a walk-up machine or ring a buzzer for an employee. No phone in room to call for help. Every time we had an issue in room, back down to ring the buzzer. To be fair, the staff tried to be accomodating. May 22 was high 70's/humid. The ground floor (bar and restaurant) was chilly, but our room up on the 5th floor was a stuffy, sweltering mess. Staff said they could "turn our AC up remotely", in their back office, & would do so while we were out for a late lunch. Few hours later, room felt no better so we asked for a fan. Also asked to change rooms but they couldn't accomodate us.There is a sign up that reads, "Welcome to the home of the GOOD NIGHT GUARANTEE". I have asthma,the air was so close & stuffy I did not sleep a wink that night, nor did Steve, we were both sweating profusely, even with the fan,- not very conducive to a GOOD NIGHT. Next morning spoke to mgr, he told us to leave a keycard inserted while we were out to keep AC going.Returned 7 hrs later, room was SWELTERING, had to be in mid-80's, checked AC unit and IT WAS COMPLETELY OFF. Went back down, mgr said "goes off automatically"?!? We were done. Told him we could not do another night there and checked out. Do yourself a favor stay elsewhere!

No air conditioner a old fan in the room a lie say they have air conditioner, blood was on my bed and mildew my room was not clean up for five days and I was in this room for seven days, I kept asking and I was told it was gonna get clean but it was shorter staff I had to keep on asking for towers I had to clean my own room I asked for half of my money back and they told me no they were short of staff that has nothing to do with me this building is old and need remodeling do not stay at this hotel is dirty and dusty. One man was nice and he said that he understood why I’m angry and why I want some of my money back I even talked to the manager and the manager said my room will be cleaned the next day which it wasn’t I had to go back downstairs I did everything they asked me to do I put the sign make up room leave the hotel at 8 o’clock and come back at 5 o’clock room still not done I had to go downstairs and change my own sheets and ask for towels every day. This hotel need to be closed in London.
