The A/C is set at 28.5°C. This was way too high and essentially meant the A/C never kicked in. There are two small fans above the bed, so these were the only cooling elements. This also meant keeping the curtains completely drawn, so there was no way to enjoy the spectacular view. The bed had flannel sheets, which are not conducive to cooling; as a result, sleeping in this unit was very uncomfortable. They also charge a service fee AND a cleaning fee. Given all of that i wouldn’t recommend this place.

We had a great time at this very clean condo. Everything we needed was available. The location was perfect for beautiful sunrise along with onsite dining at the hotel. We would definitely rebook. Loved Los Barriles!!!

Condo was fair. Dark and cramp. We were required to pay 45 dollars plus 20 to maid. For a 12 hour stay

Comfortable Condo

We had a great stay in Los Barriles. The condo was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the colorful decor - which included art from the area. The condo’s location is ideal with great views. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Great layout and use of space, amazing location

Great unit in the Villas, amazing views and so close to restaurants and shopping in Los Barriles. Great bathroom shower layout unique relative to other units in this building.

Lovely, well equipped condo in great location

The studio condo was very nicely decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed in a great location. Property manager was very helpful and always on hand if we had a question. Will request to stay again when we return to the area.

Cozy condo with fabulous views and amenities

Nothing fancy, decor is typical Mexican desert flair, but comfortable, clean, and just an all around perfect location for a small studio space to use as a base camp to explore the East Cape. Good value, excellent views and access to beach and pools. Will search out this place again when visiting Los Barrelis. Thanks for your hospitality we really enjoyed your little spot on the Sea of Cortez.

Wonderful condo

Loved the condo and location! the views and sunrises were awesome. What We didn't like was the hidden cleaning fee. I've been booking vrbo for years and never experienced hidden fees. After paying Our total ,3 days before arrival the Owner emailed Us saying We have to leave 45 dollars plus 20 percent tip for the cleaning in cash and pesos only. The groundskeeper stopped Us upon departure to make sure We paid 55 dolars. I told Him The owner told Us 45 dollars and nobody tells Me what to tip although I did leave a nice tip as I always do.

Nice stay at a nice resort.

Relaxing stay at this quiet resort. We didn’t really use the property amenities much as we toured the area most of the days we were there. Otherwise the unit had everything you would need. We’re told we had to supply our own toilet paper and dish soap which was kinda odd for the price paid. Got there and there were 3 bottles of dish soap and multiple rolls of TP ?? Cleaning fee was extra as well. Super easy communication with friendly host and property management.

Gorgeous views

This property is well described and accurately represented. What we couldn’t anticipate from the pictures is how incredibly gorgeous the view was from the deck. Scattered fishing boats moored, and hills in the distance, the sound of the waves, and beautiful colorful ground of various bougainvilleas. Several nights the full moon hit the water and i wish I could share the amazing pics! It was a great pleasure hanging out in the pool area with plenty of chase lounges in the early AM to bring in the day. Janice was very accommodating and very swift in her responses. My only complaint was that time went too fast!!

The location is great, the unit is over decorated but comfortable. Be careful about your ATV outside overnight, they can disappear. But most importantly the owner did not pay the power bill and it was cut in the middle of out stay and with a baby to move was a real pain. On the phone the owner seemed more concerned about why the power went off than out well being. Won't stay in that unit again. There are several other more comfortable.

Great View

Felt nervous to walk to the condo alone at night as the hall lighting was out for two days. Fell in the shower because the drain screen was not grouted down and popped off when I stepped on it. Was told there may be an ant problem and if so there was spray under the sink...there was none. Other than that, the condo was great :) The fully equipped kitchen is a huge score for anyone who prefers to prepare their fresh catch.
