"Loved staying at the Birds and Bees Cottage. It was so peaceful waking up each day, sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the farm. This cottage was the perfect spot to unwind after visiting some local wineries. It was quiet and very easy to relax on the porch with a good book in the evening. Hope to return in the fall. "

We sat on the porch watching wildlife in the back. There are vineyards and breweries in all directions. We visited Monticello and even mountain top orchards. Owners were great. We will be returning. "Room is big and clean. Front desk lady was very nice, shared all details for breakfast and WiFi and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The hotel is next to the highway so if your room is close to it, you can hear a bit of the road. It’s not very noisy but if you are sensitive to noise, it could be bothersome. Overall clean, welcoming, well located hotel. "

"I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. It's a great place to stay with lots of room and pleasant staff and it's quiet and clean and seems safe enough. But if you want lots of choices to order out or go out to eat, there is not much choice at all, and there's not much in the way of shopping or anything other than a great Wawa gas station nearby and a few diners. "

Afton Mountain Inn

"We loved this beautiful mountain inn. The room is spotless and well-appointed, with a splendidly comfortable bed. The front porch is a fabulous place to sit in a rocker and watch the world go by. The creekside trail is a lovely walk with picnic spots to use as desired. The outdoor hot tub is a joy to the senses and tired muscles. It's very quiet with Blue Mountain Brewery just 5 minutes down the road for good food and brews, also featuring live music on Wednesdays. You can also play billiards or chess in the game room. We loved it."
