Lower Slaughter is currently my pick for most picturesque village in England that I have seen so far. It is a very small village in the county of Gloucestershire located in the Cotswold District. Through the middle of the village flows the River Eye and from the flower covered banks you can watch the trout swimming in the crystal clear water. At one end of the village next to the river is The Old Mill which is has a working (not all the time) undershot waterwheel. There is a small museum, craft shop and tearooms which are worth a visit. It is not as busy or touristy as the nearby popular Bourton-on-the-Water this is because there is no parking for the large tour buses which I think help keep the village's charm.

酒店清洁存在大问题
酒店的卫生真的不敢恭维，承诺好的退款数字又在退房后兑现不了，说是因为我在第三方网站订的房，总之当时房间里的之前客人留下的鞋、短裤还有袜子让我想起来就恶心，提醒未来准备订这间酒店的朋友入住时检查好卫生，有问题当时解决，退房时想在解决问题基本就是不可能的了。

We had a beautiful stay. The Studio was super spacious, and bed was very comfortable - so an overall very pleasant stay! We’ll be back.

Lovely cottage, really helpful host before and during stay. Facilities very good. Stairs are small & steep. Can’t wait to return, excellent location & lots to-see in the local area.
