Luminous Lagoon Tours

All staff were professional, courteous and friendly. They all went out of their way to grant your requests. The ambience is very nice. The electrical outlets on the patio didn't always work. Had to be creative in getting plugs to stay in. They also need to upgrade from 110v to 220v. Just kidding, but they should have something for travelers from Europe. Internet service was pretty good. Everyone in my group were pleased and would return. The tour setup for us by the manager was fun!!!! Good people, fantastic accommodations. Recommended...

Where do I start? Upon checking in, my friend and I could tell this resort is for young adults, between 20-30. We are NOT in that category so we IMMEDIATELY wanted to upgrade to the RIU Palace next door. This is BEFORE we checked in. We were told they didn’t have any available rooms at this time and we would have to stay here for now. Once we got to our room there was a white stain on our couch that looked like male bodily fluid. Yuck! We changed rooms. The next room had spider webs everywhere, but we were willing to over look that. I asked for an additional blanket and when I open it there was a female panty liner folded into the blanket. Now I know this sounds like TOO MANY THINGS, but I have pictures of each of these things. The property isn’t cleaned well IMO. The food was ok, best food was out by the pool. Pepe’s grill was the best. The front desk staff Paul, Brownwell, and Brittany were very nice and accommodating. But I will NEVER stay at this property again.
