"The location of the home was very nice and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and saw several deer in the fields each evening. Plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen was well equipped. My only reason for giving a rating of 3 is that the couch cushions were pretty worn out so sitting inside wasn’t very comfortable and the queen mattress in the back room sunk into the middle of bed. "

"Had an excellent stay over Thanksgiving. The host was welcoming, and the house was a perfect size for our large group. This was also one of the cleanest homes we've stayed in. We enjoyed the cozy farmhouse atmosphere with modern amenities. Would definitely stay again! "

"Mice droppings were in all the beds. Also fresh crusty blood spots on several pillow cases and soaked through to pillows. M&Ms in a bed too. Obviously unwashed bedding. Our food and containers had fresh mouse droppings on them. Survived by using our own things as much as possible. For so much a night to stay there, it was very disappointing!! When reaching out to owner to see if she’d make things right, she was totally unwilling. One thing I did appreciate is, we left an item there accidentally,...

"This place was so fun! The building itself is beautiful. My husband is a musician so we had a blast with all the musical instruments and even hooked up the microphone and spotlights and had a fun karaoke night with the kids. We had dinner at the Bull and Thistle Pub on Main Street and the food was amazing and they even had live music. I would absolutely recommend this place for a fun escape with family or a relaxing getaway."
