"Clean room! Much bigger than expected. Very friendly staff even when the electric went out in the area for a bit. They kept in communication with us as well while we were there visiting. Tho the pool wasn’t “in season” the area around it wasn’t up to par with the rest of the property and the weather was nice so we would have sat outside had it been cleaned up and tables and chairs in place, but overall we would come again."

"My first room was still dirty but the man at the counter was able to get us a different room and an upgraded breakfast and he apologized for the inconvenience. After that stay was great. The next day there was an older lady at the counter and she didn’t have the best attitude. We couldn’t get the upgraded breakfast and the lady at the register couldn’t care less and didn’t look up from her work and just pointed while looking down. Horrible attitude and customer service. Besides her everything was great. "

"The Hotel and room were clean. The staff wasn’t very welcoming. The front desk attendant seemed annoyed upon my check in. Even after check out I wasn’t asked how was the stay, only if I needed a receipt. One of the housekeepers wanted to go back and forth about towels after I told her she didn’t give me enough per the number of people in the room. I normally pack my own towels but forgot them, there was a Walmart very close so my issue was resolved. "

"Front door still have note making everyone wear mask inside the public area. Front desk staff was wearing gloves and mask while checking us in. Front lobby has overwhelming air freshener to hide the stinkyness of the facility. The room given to us was 311 and the front and back door had grease stain. Worst is, the toilet seat still had hair and the toilet bowl had poop stain. Gross!!!! We immediately left the room and told the staff the issue. I showed her the pictures and asked me to email it to her. I told her she can go back into the room and see it to herself. Area is not safe- per my observation, a lot of random people walking around the area. Just lock your cars. "

"This was a great stay. Very nice hotel. Among, if not the cleanest hotel I have stay at. Staff is amazing. The person taking care of the buffet breakfast kept fresh & full. "

"When we arrived, we had a room that was supposed to have a sleeper sofa for a liver transplant patient at Vanderbilt Hospital. When we got there, there was no mattress in the sofa. We were offered a rollaway bed that is a twin size. In the early morning hours of 3:00, the person sleeping on the rollaway was getting bitten by bed bugs. When we brought this to their attention, the hotel would not give us a refund other than a little over $20. We did not even get to sleep in the place that we paid for. Through Hotels.com, the hotel said they refused to give us our money back because of policy. This is not over. I do not put up with companies that bully their customers and don't take care of them. I will not accept any motel that has bed bugs and then does not take care of the customers. We had to get up as of 3:00 A.M. in the morning and get all of our stuff together. Do not stay here. You will not be taken care of if there is a problem. This reservation was put through Hotels.com. They didn't do any better for us than what the hotel did. I've always thought of Holiday Inn as a respectable property. We have been using Hotels.com for the last year multiple times to take a friend to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville for a liver transplant. Not anymore. She is the one that got attacked by the bed bugs. This is the kind of service you can expect if you have a problem through Hotels.com and the Holiday Inn Express in Mount Juliet."
