The front desk clerk was wonderful. She let us check in early. The room was clean and had Dove soaps, lotions and shampoos which were nice. The breakfast buffet was good. We didn't leave hungry. The lady running the buffet was a sweetheart! The only downside was the hotel is under remodeling. The hot tub was inoperable. And possibly the pool might be before long. Our room 313 was on the Starbucks side. They open at 6 and woke us up. They are very nice. New carpet, bathroom fixtures etc. There is much variety at breakfast. The staff was welcoming. Everything was clean. My one complaint was our room was facing a large gas station. There were large lights that shined right into our room. And extremely dated television, a small bathroom. Beds were actually very good. We did have to change our room because they accidentally put us in a room that hadn’t been cleaned. They were very apologetic and happy to accommodate. This hotel is half being remodeled from best Western to a holiday so that was evident. There were some lingering cigarette smells throughout the hotel, but not in the rooms. The elevator was disgusting and had a huge stain in it, and it was stained yellow all over. The breakfast was two stars just mediocrity. I would not stay at this holiday again. That wouldn't have bern a problem except the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything! The people next to me were violently slamming their bathroom door over and over, and no one from the hotel came to check on the noise. The shower caulking was non-existent so water was all over the bathroom and I had to use every towel to try to soak it up. The bathroom mirror had led built in that blinked all night long when off.
