“Auberge très bien située à proximité de la vieille ville, et dans un endroit calme et montagnard. Personnel de l'hôtel aux petits soins, navette gratuite pour la vieille ville 3x par jour et payante sur demande. Charme d'une maison un peu ancienne.”

“Our stay was 10 out of 10 perfect!! Everyone was so welcoming and made sure we had a great time. Nothing beats having a cocktail while watching the sunset over the lake from their terrace. Parking is easy, rooms are nice and clean, and breakfast is cooked right in front of you. If you are considered booking, I urge you to do so!!”

“Beautiful location, but not easy to access, very windy roads. The villa is quite old and a little run down. The room was spacious with a very nice view. Bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. They advertised a free bottle of sparkling wine, which we never saw . The room was clean, full of antique furniture. There was a small balcony but the chairs and tables were quite dirty. We couldn't use them. Breakfast was good, with delicious homemade cake but no fresh fruit, only canned fruit ……

“Fuori Porta House hotel is in a great location on the edge of the old town of Bergamo, right next to one of the arched stone gateways. It is a smart, modern hotel. Breakfast is served in a lovely, bright room at the back of the hotel, and at the front is a terrace bar that is frequented by guests and locals alike. There is also a pizza restaurant below the hotel, which was recommended as the best in Bergamo by my walking tour guide :-) My room was spacious and luxurious with fantastic……

“All was very good with this guesthouse. It was well appointed with the expected supplies of soap and shampoo and as a bonus there was some olive oil and balsamic vinegar which I appreciated. The location was excellent. My mother cannot handle steep climbs but was able to find a fairly level walking path around the town.”
