While the visit to Magnolia Market was enjoyable, there needs to be more to see and do in the immediate surrounding area. I know downtown Waco is an area in transition and will continue to grow, but one block from the silos are deserted buildings and lots, which is unappealing.

LONG line at the bakery (block long) so we didn't take the time to wait.  The shopping at the market was okay as there were many cheerful employees that helped us find what we were looking for.  We took the trolley ride (free) so we could see what was in the area.  Very difficult to see out of the windows as well as understand what the driver was trying to tell us.  Many abandoned buildings along the way sprinkled with a few antique shops.  Not quite what I had expected, but glad that we took the time to stop to see the Silo's and what the market was all about.  I am a HUGE fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines...this is quite an empire that they building.
