“We had a great stay at Oakhaven Cottage. It's in a beautiful wooded area near Manuel Correllus state forest, with plentiful running and biking paths just half a mile away, and wonderful solitude and quiet. An easy drive to Vineyard Haven and West Tisbury towns/shops. We loved just relaxing in the Adirondack chairs in the front yard, reading and taking in the fresh air. “My teenage daughter and i stayed for a week- the property was perfect for us. She loved the bed up in the loft. the house had all the amenities we needed- some we hadn't thought of- an umbrella for the beach for example. The bed and futon couch were both comfortable, the linens were comfy and clean- the location of the cottage is perfect- tony's market down the street, inkwell beach within walking distance, as is downtown oak bluffs. And the washer and dryer allow for light packing!”

“Quaint, clean house. Beautiful backyard that has a nice flat section for sitting and then slopes down to the lake. It was wonderful to have kayaks for afternoon jaunts on the lake after a morning of walking at the Mashpee Town Beach- which is connected to the South Cape Beach State Park. Drawbacks are 1) the property manager never got back to us with a solution to an issue. 2) the neighbor's house is very close and they have a TV on their porch which ruins a quiet evening on the renter's porch.”

“We spent mornings on the deck drinking coffee and taking in the quiet water views and evenings watching the sunset. It was a lovely escape but still close enough to walk into the charming town.Very clean and contemporary feeling space with much more than you’d typically find in a rental. More like staying in your friend’s nice apartment than in a bare bones rental property.”
