I had came late to check in for my flight had delayed, they were very on top of it to ensure I had a smooth check in when I arrived close to 1 am lol. Highly recommend if you like to have a warm welcoming for your first trip to cape cod :) also love the building it was so beautiful! "

Our hosts did a superb job of decorating and equipping the apartment. In fact our hosts even checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. "

"The Cottage on Oak Lane was a superb property and host experience for both my wife and I. Everything was clean and prepared upon entry. Having (quality) towels and linens provided was a huge plus. The grill is older but works perfectly. The dirt road Oak Lane is a bit long but extremely well maintained, low travelled, and provides excellent privacy. Our communication with the host gets an A and we used the in house guide to source several excellent activities. My wife and I would rent here again and would highly recommend this property for other couples looking for a getaway on MV away from the bustle of town. "

"Our family had a wonderful time at this cozy home only steps away from a very convenient supermarket and the bus stop that took us to the vineyard ferry. The owner was always available for questions and extremely helpful. "The home is absolutely breathtaking on the outside. Walking in the early morning with a cup of coffee, surrounded by the sounds of nature, is simply breathtaking. It's a quiet, quaint location just off the beaten path—perfect for peace and reflection.Although our stay was during the cooler months and we anticipated the home might feel drafty, it warmed up beautifully and fought off any potential chill, making it perfectly cozy throughout.While the interior lighting could benefit from updated LED bulbs and perhaps a TV in each bedroom, the natural sunlight brightens the home wonderfully during the day.I especially loved the soaking tub upstairs—it’s the perfect excuse to slow down, relax, and unwind."

"We really enjoyed our time at the cottage! This is a spectacular location with the very short walk down a wooded path to the beach at Lambert's Cove. It was a nice location for food and shopping at Vineyard Haven and visiting our friends in Chilmark. I recommend you arrive during daylight hours as we did - I think it might be tough to find the place for the first time at night. Also, the size of the cottage is perfect for a couple but would work well with one or two small children in the smaller bedroom. Recommended!"
