Staff were super friendly & helpful, room was immaculate the bed was so comfy, really close to loads of nice bars & resturants, all in all a really great hotel & would definitely recommend to all my friends & family.
Friendly staff , really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed , beautiful rooms, with a mini bar with a great selection of drinks to chose from , comfy beds , big tv with various different options like prime and netflix , i would 100% recommend and will be coming back , the location is perfect around loads of bars and restaurants so you don’t need to travel far :) thank you for such an amazing stay !
Me and my partners family stayed here for pre-graduation. The rooms are very compact, cosy and clean and the staff were very attentive. The hotel is also in a great location.
We did however find a couple problems with the rooms. In one room the air-con wasn’t working which made it a very hot a sweaty evening/morning in an already stressful time getting ready for a graduation. In the other room we couldn’t get the lighting to work properly.
The bar area was probably by biggest negative. Ordered 2 beers which both tasted like washing up liquid, the bar staff were struggling to pour a pint and had several attempts at such.
I liked the location and also the modern design of the hotel and furnishings overall.
The rooms are however very small, there is very little storage for clothing with just a hanging rail above the fridge ( yes, terrible). The bathroom is also very small and narrow. The worst for me was the lack of an actual breakfast. No, you do not get to go to a main restaurant and get to choose from a variety of cooked and continental together with fresh tea and coffee. At this hotel they bring you a wicker basket with some mini school meals type of foods: a mini box of rice crispies, a mini muffin, one babybell, a mini milk, a mini juice, mini spreads ( jam, nutella, marmalade and butter) but without any toast ( perhaps the hotel expects you to eat these spreads with your fingers straight from the little pots), one mini weetabix. This hotel isn’t upfront about the breakfast offering on the booking platforms however they do charge standard full breakfast rates as all other hotels that actually do offer a real breakfast. I will not stay here again and I don’t recommend it to anyone. For context, yes I did query at reception why they offered such a poor breakfast and if they have other options and the answer was ‘that’s all we have’.
5/5 stars!! Would highly recommend to anyone. The staff was super friendly, you are in the middle of a great Manchester area, and the amenities were very nice.
All staff were friendly and helpful . All the decor in the hotel is very tasteful and the room was extremely nice. The bath robes were really good and the high end toiletries gave it a luxurious feel. Despite a room being on the corner so facing 2 main roads the room was surprisingly quiet . We had the continental breakfast delivered to our room which came at the precise time and had a great choice with plenty of food. Fantastic location right in the heart of the city centre , we would definitely stay here again .
Staff extremely friendly and helpful, hotel clean and in a good location, we had a king size duplex room, extremely comfortable and clean, steps upto to bedroom would be tricky if you have mobility issues, breakfast was continental as the restaurant was closed
