You’ve found it. This is the one. Mana-Tiki Bay checks all the boxes! Named after the mammals that frequently visit and can be spotted from the outdoor tiki hut, this home is centrally located near the best shopping, restaurants & marinas Marathon has to offer. This stylish 3/2 canal front home features a private swimming pool large enough for the kids to play and breathtaking open water views that can be enjoyed while swimming or soaking in the sun from one of the outdoor loungers. Waterside you’ll also find the famous tiki hut with room to entertain or enjoy your freshly grilled catch (courtesy of our BBQ Grill). Beneath the palm trees, you’ll also find an elevated putting green, in case you’re itching to knock a few strokes off your golf-game. The interior of the home is island inspired with chic decor and a simplistic design. The convenient layout makes entertaining easy. You’ll find a fully stocked kitchen with water views over the sink, a living room that connects to a screened in patio, and the dining room with an abundance of natural light seeping in via the hurricane force windows. Each bedroom is just as thoughtfully decorated. The master with King bed and en-suite bath is a lovely retreat after a long day of enjoying the beautiful Florida weather. The second bedroom features a Queen bed with Twin trundle and the third bedroom also features a Queen bed. Near the kitchen you’ll also find the laundry room with washer and dryer. Marathon is known for it’s world class fishing, and not only can you see the Gulf of Mexico from your kitchen sink, but you can be in the Atlantic Ocean via Vaca Cut in less than a few minutes. If you’d like to get your toes in the sand, Coco Plum & Sombrero Beach are also just a couple miles away and there is also a public boat ramp just under one mile from the home. Wise advice from the posting which we took! This property is clean, well laid out, beautifully decorated, and has a gorgeous ocean view. We were in the pool everyday, and easily docked a rental boat on the sea wall. We were treated to Manatee and tarpon in the canal daily. Out in the bay just beyond the canal we saw rays and sea turtles. The beds and other furnishings were comfortable and we enjoyed a lot of time out in the screened porch. The only drawback was noise from deliveries at businesses across the street and the nearby airport during the day, but all was quiet at night. House had everything needed. The pool was a nice addition to come home to after a hot day on the water. The neighbors to the right were wonderful as well and invited us over. The house is on a fairly busy street with the back of commercial businesses in front of the house. A couple days, there were large trucks making deliveries, but this did not bother or interrupt our stay. If back in Marathon again, will consider this property again. Being able to kayak from the house was also a great experience! I only wish I realized earlier that we could pay to get the pool heated as the water was really cold. The listing says house accommodates 8 people which is really not the case. The house was well equipped and the kayaks were very fun. We saw so many manatees it was amazing. The furniture was very comfortable and location was great - outdoor space amazing if only the weather cooperated! Amenities were perfect, views were amazing, and having a private pool was great.
