Spent a lovely four nights at Skipjack on our way down the Keys. Staff friendly and helpful, pool and bar good too. There is obviously refurbishing and rebuilding taking place so some areas looking tired, but it will be great once finished. Had some very good sushi one evening and continental breakfast was a bonus.

Great place, lovely staff. Was met key lime pie and a bottle of bubbly in our room for our anniversary. There were some issues with bugs in the kitchen area, which were quickly taken care of once notified. Ate outside a number of times for lunch & dinner. The food was good. We stayed 5 weeks from last week in Jan until the end of Feb. Breakfast was not as appetizing. Great live music on quite a few nights. During the day the pool area was pretty busy but no games as previous folks mentioned. Great location for beach, nature trails, Key West an hr away. A number of great restaurants nearby. Dockside is fun and has great entertainment! Construction going on but we had been aware prior to booking. Thank you everyone.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on in a resort. In fact we are looking to purchase the same mattress.

Had a great stay at Skipjack, really lovely location for a quiet break. Fantastic staff, great food, great bar. Really relaxing spot and a great base for exploring Marathon and the surrounding area. We went by car, but it looked like plenty of places could be reached by bike. Nearby Sombrero beach is a fantastic spot with good facilities (parking costs are a little steep)
