"When you first walk in, it will go into the kitchen and it feels like grandma is waiting for you. The home has been kept up, It has not been remodeled. We absolutely love this. The sturdy hardwood cabinets, the oversize leather chair, and sofa make you feel at home. The huge yard with the fire pit is absolutely amazing. There is a short trail and you will find yourself at the river. It is the home of 107 year-old Mary Epperson. You will find a couple of family pictures and a brief biography of Mary in the welcome book on the table by the door.If there’s something you needing, just keep opening cabinets and you’ll probably find it. Salt, pepper, sugar, coffee for both the regular coffee maker, and the Keurig, which are both provided, and a multitude of other spices. Everything to make your stay more comfortable. "
