“Our small family stayed 3 nights. The apartment was clean and easily accessible to Montreal (about 7 minutes away). Kitchen was well stocked with comfy living room suite and vast tv entertainment. Had washer, but dryer was broken. Third floor lodging with no elevator. Parking was across the street, next to a police station. Our personal effects and car were never bothered. “We booked the place 2 weeks in advance, got confirmation of booking from VRBO and was charged for the room. The day of check in, we reached out to the property manager for access instructions and were totally ghosted. Stranded in a busy city in a foreign country with nowhere to stay, despite having confirmation and paying.I received no response until I asked for a refund. I was assured that VRBO would refund the money, but have received no further response to inquiries from the property manager...

As other reviewers mentioned, the apartment is a walk-up with many stairs. The building is older but the apartment was beautifully renovated and modern.
