El Castell de Guadalest is a beautiful Valencian town located in a mountainous area in the province of Alicante. You can either get here by car or take a bus from Benidorm. The old castle is located at the top of the mountain and offers a gorgeous view of the valley below. #AboveItAll
Up in the mountains, right beside a little village called Guadalest, you'll find this hidden gem: a gorgeous, turquoise lake! Guadalest, an old fortified town, itself is worth a visit as well.
Amazing place, walk for 1-1.5 hours, swim, take photos have fun.
