"Our 10-day visit to the Lexington Michigan area went well, this property was perfectly located, clean and comfortable during our stay. We, too, own a cottage in the area that we short term rent and we treated this home as we hope our tenants treat ours during their stay. The outside space is well done too! I will rent again!"

"It was right on the water, close to town and big enough for our whole family and very clean. However, there was not a bathroom on the main floor and there are a lot of stairs between the beach and the bathroom. Also, the rounded driveway was alittle cumbersome with several cars as someone always had to move their car to let the middle cars out."

"The cottage is adorable with beautiful lake view. The furniture is clean and in good condition. However appliances were not clean and refrigerator did'nt maintain proper cold temp. Host does provide smart a TV but does not provide cable or wifi. We were told not to use fireplace or access beach. Sunporch is not furnished as shown. Numerous ladybugs, dead and alive, especially in kitchen. We had a few other issues and decided to check out early and stay elsewhere."

"These little cottages are cute and popular, and we did enjoy our stay. Our cottage had two beds, one full size and one queen size. We opted to use the full size as it had access to both sides of the bed, but certainly would have preferred to have had the queen sized bed in that room. Kitchen shelves and cabinet were cluttered, but easy to pick up. We were only given two towels for a two night stay. "This house is bigger inside than it appears at first sight. We instantly felt cozy and right at home as we walked through the front door. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. A big shout out to the housekeeping staff this house was SPOTLESS!!! We so appreciated it thank you!!. The only draw back was, there was so much cardboard and yard waste (too much to clean out) in the fire pit we were afraid to have a bonfire, because of the low tree branches right above it. There is a small grocery within walking distance and a bike trail literally 50 yards from the door of the cabin. Otter Lake is central to many great rural communities in central Michigan.
