“Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. ”

The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions We would highly recommend ”

Dog friendy - and he appreciated his own sausage each morning. Great location for walking - Kinder Scout and Derwent Water a short drive or Buxton, Bakewell or Matlock - perfect break ”
