From the outside, honestly, I had my doubts as to why this hotel rated as well as it did. However, once you step through the doors, the lackluster exterior is forgotten. Inside, it's just like any other budget hotel chain, clean, welcoming and simple. The staff was really friendly and made check-in a breeze. My room was huge, it had a walk-in closet and a separate kitchen area, no kidding! Breakfast was served from 6am - 10 am every day and there was a different protein option each day that I was there. For a free breakfast, it was more than adequate and definitely did the trick, plenty of variety. This hotel may just be a hidden gem and is certainly a great deal. If I ever find myself needing to stay in Rantoul again, I'm definitely booking another stay here.
