Villa Solento (Crab House): with all the comforts just a stone's throw from the sea.

Newly renovated detached villa, just a short walk from the beach and equipped with all amenities (drinking water, air conditioning, mosquito screens, fully equipped kitchen, garden, etc.).

It can accommodate up to 10 adults and 1 infant in a crib:
- first floor: covered porch with table, chairs, and a hammock; patio with awning, table, chairs, and built-in barbecue; garden with trees, sun deck with lounge chairs; outdoor shower; outdoor laundry area; kitchen-living room (equipped with LED TV, large 290-liter refrigerator with 90-liter freezer, stove, oven, cookware and pans, washing machine, dishwasher, fireplace, and sofa bed); storage room (with beach umbrellas, hair dryer, ironing board, and iron); bathroom (with toilet, bidet, sink, and shower).
- First floor: bathroom (with toilet, bidet, sink), 1 double/king-size bedroom with a crib for a child up to 3 years old + sofa bed, 1 double/king-size bedroom + sofa bed, terrace.
All 3 sofa beds are one-and-a-half-width (140x190 cm), meaning they are comfortable for 2 adults.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and mosquito screens.

Parking is free on the private road adjacent to the house (practically right under the bedroom windows).

The house is particularly well-suited for families with children (we have two of our own): we provide (subject to availability) a crib, changing table, baby bathtub, high chair, stroller, swim ring, toys, etc.

Internet: free Wi-Fi with 50 GB per month. The connection in the area isn’t great (6 to 10 Mbps: you can usually check emails and browse the Internet quickly, but there may be times—such as during peak hours or on busy days—when the connection is slow).

The house is located in Campomarino di Maruggio, just 100 meters from the beautiful sandy beach of D’Ayala, where you can choose between public beaches or beach clubs (there are two). Just cross the street, walk down a pedestrian path, and you’ll reach the beach.

I’ll provide you with a beach umbrella free of charge to take to the beach.

Just a few meters away (between 20 and 100 meters) you’ll find bars, restaurants, and a pizzeria.
In the center of Campomarino (800 m away), you’ll find all other amenities (convenience stores, shops, nightclubs, ice cream parlors, restaurants, a marina, a drugstore, etc.).
In Maruggio (4 km away), you’ll find everything else year-round.

The airports in Brindisi (65 km) and Bari (140 km) are connected by low-cost flights to major Italian and European cities.

We are located in the Primitivo di Manduria wine region and in a central location for reaching all of Puglia’s main tourist destinations: Ostuni, Lecce, Gallipoli, Otranto, and two UNESCO sites (Alberobello, Matera).

The area is rich in picturesque villages and smaller art cities (Maruggio, Manduria, Oria, Francavilla Fontana, Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca, etc.), as well as natural parks and protected areas: just a few meters from the house is the pine forest and D’Ayala Beach; 3 km away is the Campomarino Dunes Park; 20 km away is the Monks’ Salt Flat with its pink flamingos; and 13 km away are the Cuturi and Rosamarina forests.

Inside the house, you’ll find a library with tourist publications—and since we are tour guides, nature and hiking guides, as well as wine and olive oil sommeliers—we’ll be more than happy to help you discover and enjoy our fantastic region.
