Bordered by the South River and Harness Creek, Maryland Quiet Waters Park is a spacious public park and a favorite among locals and visitors. Follow the pathway around green meadows and quiet hardwood forests before reaching the waterfront. Here, you’ll find a pretty promenade that follows the curve of the river past sandy beaches and lookout points. From your watercraft, investigate Persimmon Point on the opposing bank or follow the meandering Harness Creek.

Maryland Quiet Waters Park is in southern Annapolis and is mostly enclosed by Harness Creek. The fee to enter the park includes vehicular access. The park is closed on Tuesdays. It is 3.6 miles (5.8 kilometers) from downtown Annapolis and the nearest bus stop is on the Brown line.
