“This B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.”

“Very good location I. The center of St. Emilion. Very spacious room and shower. Tea and coffee available I. The common area. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but the host guided us to nearby free parking. She was very helpful in sourcing a taxi and suggesting places to go nearby”

“When we arrived we have not been provided with a correct room that has been reserved, that makes us feel uncomfortable to be with 2 kids and 2 adults in a small room for 2 people. The host tried to solve situation, but another room has been too hot, 40C outside and no AC in any room. Our rooms had very bad smell of humidity as well. We have not been notified that the dinner has to be ordered in advance, so we have arrived at 7pm and we could not eat or drink there. No minibars available in the……

“Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there were some disappointing aspects. The room was comfortable, clean, and the breakfast was good. The highlight of our stay was definitely the swimming pool. During our visit, temperatures reached nearly 40°C, and being able to cool off in the pool made a huge difference and was greatly appreciated. However, we found the staff to be rather unfriendly and not particularly welcoming. After showing us our room upon arrival, we had virtually no interaction……

“The proprietors are superb. The property has been extensively upgraded to a superb standard. The pool is perfect for relaxing around as is the number of chairs and tables undercover. BBQ if you wish. The mature trees are so colourful. In 7 years of travel around France this has to be our number one pick. ”
