"Even though we thought we were staying near Sassi, it was fairly easy to get there with the bus which stopped in front. Our host was extremely helpful and made it stay very positive. The room was a good size and loved our balcony."

"A restaurant is exactly downstairs of our room, so it was quite noisy in the night time from the guests sitting outside of restaurant. Also there was a few second noise from the electric box of the room every minute when we turned on the air conditioning. The location of room is very good, walking distance to Matera old town. We really enjoy to stay at Matera."

"This is a great little place in Matera. There’s no parking available, but there is access to drop off your luggage if you need to. The check-in is remote, and there’s no elevator for the 8 steps or so you will need to take your luggage up. Definitely recommend trying one of the restaurants immediately in that area. "
