“Very nice room in a quiet, beautiful part of the countryside. Friendly host. Lots of sweet dogs on the property. Many need a bath and a little medical care, in my opinion, but they were a joy to see whenever we came and went. The wifi did not work in our room at all. "The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance."
