Natasha lives just across the way and was a most helpful host. The guide for all things that you need to know was comprehensive. It was very well equipped & Natasha the host was extremely helpful. I would suggest there is info in the property with how to work the t.v, hob etc. We needed to ask Natasha to show us how to use these. Before we arrived Tasha sent us an email with attached welcome pack. It was very comprehensive and as well as telling us everything we needed to know about the studio it also had great info about places to eat and things to do. The studio itself was great, it was immaculately clean and we loved the little touches of being left bread, milk and biscuits. Shortly after arrival Tasha came to say hello, she was lovely and extremely personable. Her knowledge of the area was great and gave us some great ideas for where we could walk our dog. Everything was super. Tasha is a great host. She left some butter, milk, bread, biscuits, and even mince pies. The kitchen is well stocked with every gadget you might need (and then some): measuring spoons, corkscrew, can opener, rolling pin, cafetiere, tea pot, food box, lemon juicer, mixing bowl, ovenware, pans, kitchen knives, grater, whisk, salt, pepper, oil. What could make it better? Perhaps a fold-out table for eating dinner. (We suggested this to Tasha.) The place is very clean - I even checked on top of the wardrobe! Despite being a barn conversion, we were very warm and snug. TV streaming subscriptions were useful for entertainment on the dark nights in December. The setting is absolutely beautiful, right on the edge of the Peak District. Follow the directions to get to the place, as it's up a narrow street off the main road. The accommodation was beautiful and finished to a very high standard. It was greatly equipped and has a very comfortable bed. The shower was great also. Despite the current energy crisis it was also cozy. The owner was very friendly and provided fantastic information about the property and the local area. Luckily it was the Victorian Christmas market weekend in Matlock, which we would also recommend.
