Pros: 5 min walk from Matsumoto station, many restaurants within 5-10min walking distance that’s foreign friendly, brand new hotel facility (beds were firm, staff was very friendly, overall facility very clean), free breakfast (western and American options were available and it was all delicious!), late night snacks (ramen and ice cream) available Cons: depending if there’s a tour group or not - the small/medium sized breakfast area can be very busy until 8:30am and you would need to wait, shower curtain has a musty smell if not aired out properly Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Fantastic find and a really nice room. Close to the train station. Modern and efficiently outfitted. Laundry rooms available with ample machines unlike some other establishments. Highly recommended. The free desert or ramen each night was great.

The breakfast had a good variety catering for western tastes. The room was too small for 2 people. The double bed had walls on 3 sides, no bedside table and only one bedside wall light. This was not great as my husband uses a Cpac machine when sleeping. Our bags were in the hallway. There was one small chair. We had booked a premium room as we wanted a bigger room after looking at the pictures on Expedia , not sure that's what we got as it was 1 of the 2 smallest rooms on our floor. When we spoke to reception we were told sorry but fully booked. My tip, perhaps book a twin room in this hotel. It was an easy walk from the station though.

Lovely stay at this hotel: Location was quiet and super convenient to train station, Matsumoto castle, and other sights. Staff was extremely kind and the breakfast had a lot of delicious options. Such a great town to stroll about! Would definitely stay here again!

This was a comfortable stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is a short flat walk to the station and mid way in the direction of the castle. The complementary breakfast was very much appreciated. An enjoyable stay.

I have staid in many hotels of the same price class in Japan. This hotel stands out as it clearly offered us a larger room. Nice bathroom. Very friendly staff. I will look for Iroha hotels in the future.

Convenient Hotel to Matsumoto Station
The hotel was very convenient to Matsumoto Station. It is close to restaurants and shopping areas, but also very quiet. The room was spacious for the price. The only con I have is that the bed was a bit hard.

Hotel is within walking distance to matsumoto station. Lots of food places nearby and there is also a convenience store nearby. Room is quite small but can't really expect much more based on the price.
