“A little bit tired: for example a very worn, saggy mattress on the bed and a shower that was adequate but no more. The staff were friendly but the hotel itself needs a refurb.”

“Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. ”

“We weren’t really there that long as we couldn’t check in until 21:30 (our fault, not the hotel!) as we had been at a wedding all day so it was more or less into the room and straight to sleep! The room itself looked a bit dated- carpet & furniture could do with updating but the bathroom you would be proud to have in your own home. Well decorated and an amazing shower! If I’m being really picky then the only other things were a full bin in the room from the previous guests plus a half eaten……

“The room was new and very clean … on arrival young lady showed us to our room . We booked on line to have evening Meal but not confirmation until we arrived …. I asked what time was breakfast and they asked if we could pre - book for the two days we stayed there … First days breakfast was excellent and cooked to perfection by a young man …. The second day was different as we felt sorry for the lady that was cooking breakfast as she was just about to go home and didn’t realised we were booked……
