“The room was clean. There was plenty of space. Only thing is the TV signal was not working but this could have been easily due to the massive thunderstorm we were having at the time which was far more beautiful to watch. I would definitely stay here again. Definitely value for money.”

“Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. Food excellent quality, well prepared. More choice of breakfast buffet items would be welcome. If you are solo and book in advance for dinner, be aware that you might……

“Nice comfy room with a sea view, comfortable bed, super friendly staff, a nice pub and good breakfast in a great location. Also parking was free :) there were just minor things to improve - the door handle in the bathroom was loose as well as the temperature setting in the shower. Also internet was unstable so if you wanna stream something, its almost impossible. We had room 12 on the third floor, which we didnt mind, but consider if youre older or require accessibility :-)”

“It was very good value and in a very beautiful area. The maintenance of the building was outstanding. No lift and, at 80, I found that a bit of a struggle. But will return - and breakfast was good value.”

“The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again.”

“Lovely boutique hotel. Easy check-in at the bar. Convenient parking around the corner in a gated lot. We stayed in a comfortable third-floor walk-up efficiency room. There is a tiny but well-appointed kitchenette, an enormous soaking tub, and beautiful skylights with inset remote-controlled blinds.”
