“Communication with this property was poor from the start. Before arrival, I modified our reservation and then heard nothing for over a week. After multiple attempts to reach someone, I had to contact customer support just to confirm the change had been made. I specifically raised concerns about the lack of communication and was assured we would have a designated manager available 24/7 after check-in. That was not our experience. During a confusing and stressful check-in, we finally reached a……

“The price is reasonable and the location is great. The beds are not completely comfortable, but the feel of a home makes up for it. It is a different experience than staying at a hotel.”

“Clean property. Great location.”

“Paste this one into Expedia. It’s warm, specific, and still tight enough for a hotel-review box: I stayed at Collective Governors Island for my 35th birthday, and it made the occasion incredibly special. Waking up on Governors Island, in my favorite city, on my actual birthday was a memory I will always keep. I stayed in a king accommodation, and this was my first glamping experience. Now I’m pretty sure this is the only way I want to camp. I loved having the peacefulness of nature and……

“Location is great. Check in and out was seamless. ”

“The room was clean and the location was excellent. We were not informed about the "short stay" fee of 92 until check-in. That should have either been included in our fee for the room, or we should have been told about it prior to checking in at the desk.”

“The host Alex was great! The place was clean and comfortable. The location was also very good. We were able to walk to MSG,Penn Station and restaurants with ease. Thank you Alex!”

“This place was a good find in NYC. You are located in Hell’s Kitchen, a solid 10 blocks away from Times Square, so just know that before you go. Being on the second floor this place is very loud. You will get the sounds and lights of NYC being directly next to the Lincoln Tunnel. Tons of traffic, honks, police sirens and people at all hours of the night coming and going. Host is excellent communicator and we were able to leave our stuff in room a couple hours before check in. The place was also……

“Excellent”

“The central location was very convenient and made it easy to get around. However, the soundproofing was poor, and it was quite noisy late at night and into the early morning, sometimes as late as 2 am. Light sleepers may want to keep this in mind. The room was clean and had everything we needed, but the facilities felt a bit old, and there were some stains on the carpet and bedding. Also, we were required to pay a cleaning fee at check-in and could not check in without paying it.”
