Had to book an unexpected overnight trip to be close by for doctors appointments and testing. Hotel was clean, felt safe. Close to doctors office. Staff nice. Water pressure great. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Would recommend hotel.

Staff was helpful, polite and courteous, the hotel entrance looks stunning, reminiscent to the old world, but the room we received showed the age of the hotel (102 years old !) It was definitely not a room in a 4* hotel. It looked run down, used and smelly. The bathroom was so small that a toilet flush box could not even fit in there. It was a big disappointment. Maybe a 3 star or less.

The manager met us and gave us a tour. All is as advertised. The cabin is well done and comfortable. My wife and I were down for three days of fishing at Winyah Bay and Bulls Bay.
