“Our family vacation was wonderful at the Fireside Lodge. The room setup worked perfectly for our family with the children on the lower level and the adults on the top level. We loved the decorating scheme and the awesome light fixtures. The dining room’s custom made table was beautiful and so roomy and we spent lots of time there talking, eating, and playing game. “We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were communicative. Unfortunately, two of the bedrooms upstairs had no blinds or curtains. We also found parking up the steep hill to be a nightmare. Finally, there were just too many rules including that we had to wash one load of towels “to help the cleaners” which didn’t really make sense to us. Besides those three points, we enjoyed our stay, house is lovely and the area is beautiful. ”

“Great house for small gatherings. Movie room is fun and the house was exceptionally clean. Our only observations with be:-It gets cold in the winter- having additional blankets for sleeping would be a plus- some of us froze while others were too warm.-The fire pit is a nice touch- however, it won't work without propane. All the tanks were empty.-In order to cook and prepare foods, some additional cookware would have been helpful- such as casserole dishes, etc.Overall- nice place and stay :)”

“We had a great time staying here in Massanutten. The drive was a bit steep but the house itself was lovely! Everyone loved the couch and the tv was perfect for our movie night. All the rooms were great sizes and the pingpong table in the basement was super fun! The outside was a little rougher than expected, deck furniture/rugs could use an update, and construction trash from next door was blowing onto the property (no fault of the owners!).
