When we arrived to check in, there was no-one at the desk, no bell or buzzer to say that we had arrived, and no service. I went outside to get the telephone number to call for service, and a staff member who had been sitting outside all along came in and checked me in. When I went out later, to ask how to get the TV to work, she said someone else would come and explain it. About 1/2 hour later, someone did come...but his attitude was supercilious. I believe that if you are in the hospitality business, you should be hospitable! A simple buzzer on the check in desk, and a note on table with the TV on how to work use the remote control for the modem and the TV itself would have solved both of these problems. And, the maintenance of the property could have been better. The screen in the screen door was gone, the blinds were broken and didn't fully cover the window, and the toilet kept running after it was flushed. However, this property was 1/3 less expensive than others in the area, so perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised! And, there was no air conditioning so the room was too hot to sleep comfortably.
