It’s a really nice apartment in a historic building in the old Lecce. The location is very safe and convenient to explore the old town. There is also a street parking within 5 min walk, which was very helpful. Desideria is wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

Corigliano d'Otranto (Choriàna or Koriana griko, Curiànu in local dialect) is an Italian town set in the Salento (Puglia), belonging to the historic region of "Grecìa Salentina", a linguistic area of nine municipalities where the inhabitants speak the "griko", an ancient language of Greek origin. Corigliano d'Otranto has an impressive castle with a highly decorated exterior. Everyone knows the Salento for the beauty of its beaches and its postcard views, for the goodness of local cuisine and the charm of its many traditions. But few may know that in the Salento is also famous for many other aspects that are revealed to visitors especially during the many patronal feasts spread inland of the peninsula. We are talking about the incredible play of light illuminations, also called villas: these little colored lights that go to cover entire buildings such as waterfalls, churches, streets and squares, forming sets only ones able to keep his eyes upwards everyone, from the largest to the smallest.
